Get your debts under control, I did and it saved my life and opened up my future.

I’m shitting bricks, so freaking nervous and anxious I can’t even explain.

Every knock at the door brings shivers and dread with every beat of your accelerated heart.

Each knock you think, “This is the end, this is where I loose everything, I may loose my house, my car, even my T.V. and my kids will loose everything too, I’ve fucked up beyond belief.”

This is how debts can make you feel.

Too many people, especially in todays world are falling into debt, and they think it’s a bottomless pit.

Because it is, once you get into debt, you are trapped, you fall into an endless spiral.

That’s how it feels.

There is help.

My debts are now in hand, mostly, I got help from the insolvency group, they helped me get an IVA, they do the hard work for you, and all you have to do is answer some questions, then they had a meeting with all the companies that handled my debts within a couple of weeks.

Take it this way I owed more than 20k (something between 22 and 25k), I’m paying less than £150 a month, for 5 years, the rest will be written off, that is more than 60% being written off.

They do all the hard work for you, all you need to have with you is all your incoming and outgoings, even all your bills, and they even take into account if you smoke, and they also leave you with a bit extra to do what you want with.

They can stop your Creditors from contacting you, and help stop any CCJs (County Court judgments), it will take 5 years to clear your debts and reset your credit history after 6 years.

You will not have to pay any extra fees, you just have to pay what you both agree with, that is sustainable, and if you have any letters or calls after the final agreement they will deal with them straight away, they were fantastic.

Even better still, I have a pretty bad stutter/stammer and they were completely understandable and helped with that too, and very very patient.

With their help I got the chance of a new life, and with that new life came a chance to reinvent myself, the chance to become someone else, the opportunity to become anyone or anything I desired.

I got a new job, I moved to Gloucester and I carried on doing my blog, and now I’m writing a book.

You can do anything you can dream of.

Well not anything but you can become the person you have always wanted to become.

I may not ever become the worlds best blogger, or book writer, maybe never even rich, or even a world wide book writer, even though I’m still working on my book.

I mean, shit, I’m became a stronger person, also a more confident person for sure, and I’ve damn well got my stutter and debts under some sort of control.

Above all else, I’m becoming happy, more happy than I’ve ever been, more happy than I could have ever imagined I could be.

That’s the dream right? Everyone wants to be happy.

Even though I was scared shitless and my anxiety levels were through the roof, I’m on the right path to being the happiest I’ve ever been, and it helps with having my debts under control.

New life means new opportunities, new experiences and new everything. The path before me isn’t laid, it’s not a long planned road, it’s like a big massive field, a blank canvas ready for me to do my thing and ready for me to create my own path. The best thing is, I can give it as many curves and bends and loop the loops as I bloody well want.

It’s my road, and I can make it what I want, for the 1st time in my life I have full control of my own body, mind and heart, and my own future, and noone can get in my way.

My life my rules.

If you ever have the opportunity to take control of your own life, bloody take it, because it’s the best feeling ever. God damn scary but damn it’s a rush like no other.

It may be a hard, long winding road, but you are strong enough to handle whatever comes your way, trust me, that’s coming from someone who has never been strong.

Take what you can, you may even surprise yourself. Live your life your way.
