So being my birthday on Wednesday, I’ve had my birthday weekend with treacle tits this weekend.

Next weekend I’ll have another birthday weekend with lil man.

Yesterday was just a chill day, mostly due to boy not getting out of bed, but it was nice to do nothing. Esspecially after having such a long week at work, well a 2 day week (technically) is pretty long right?

Just kidding, it was nice having a 2 day week, but going back to work on earlies is a tough one, I didn’t sleep too well due to worrying about not waking up. All was good though.

Today we went to broadway in the cotswolds, off the M5 junction 9. We spend a bit of a fortune really, but very worth it. It’s not often we get out, so we are determined to get out at least once a month.

Being my birthday weekend, treacle tits decided to get me some awesome whiskey, it is very nice, and some awesome candles for my birthday cake.

The other stuff we got were some cotswold creme, one of her clients get her this every birthday and Christmas and it is totally spot on. Both from  The cotswolds distillery (link provided for their website).

We got some chocolates from another shop and some brandy from another, the brandy is also lovely, I’m not a brandy kind of guy but damn that shits good and thick and hits the spot.

I also got a jacket from a charity shop, something I’d never usually buy, but I couldn’t resist, treacle tits treated me and it cost £25 and looked online and they are ranging between £400 and £700. It’s an Italian wool jacket, something like the picture below, but looks way better in person. It’s like (or more like it is) a jaeger italian wool overcoat with cashmere. Fucking sounds posh to me.

Let’s just say it’s a bargain.

Another bargain this weekend was Saturday shopping in Morrisons. We found these shoulder joints of pork reduced, and they are like 3kg in weight each, there were 2 packs of 2 left so we got them both and put into freezer, worked out to just over £10. Full price they should have been like £30. They had already been reduced to £11, then reduced further just because of the dates.

On the way back we went to a lovely restaurant called Ye Olde Hobnails Inn, very very nice, and food was perfect.

I may not be welcome there again though, I went to go to the toilet, I stood up from the chair and knocked one of the shelves (they have some awesome stuff on show, like antiques and stuff) and yeah you guessed it, I broke something. They had some posh plates and cups, fine china kind of stuff, amongst other things, and one of the china cups fell off after I helped it along it’s way with a little bump of my shoulder.

I was embarrassed and gutted but the staff there were totally understandable and other customers had a shock and horror face with a stifled giggle.

As gutted as I was, the food was amazing, the service was amazing and the whole day was just perfect.

If you ever want a day out, I highly recommend going here, and hobnails inn for food.

So all in all, such a fantastic weekend, bargains everywhere. Big jack at work always says I find amazing bargains, how do I do it?haha I’m not sure really, I may just be a happy go lucky kinda guy.

I’m happy today, and I tend to carry this happy mood into next week, up to my birthday Wednesday and off into my birthday weekend with lil man next weekend. Bring on another week at work.
