The santablog series, day 14. (Every moment is special, grasp it before it’s gone)

THE SANTABLOG SERIES

(Image taken from Google search, and adapted by myself)

Press play before you scroll, get that Christmas feeling flowing.

Today, I want you to live for the moment, not just because every moment may be your last, let’s not get sucked into that deep dark hole eh?

I mean live for the moment because that moment only comes once, every moment you have is the only time that moment will exist.

You can’t relive moments in your time, even if you try to replicate it will be different.

Take a picture for example, you can take a picture of a tree, you can take 2 pictures of the same tree, but the 2 moments those pictures have been taken something will have changed, something that will never return.

To the naked eye these 2 pictures look very similar, but if you had a powerful enough camera you can see very very tiny changes, like 1 single leaf may have blown off, or a piece of bark may have fallen to the ground, or the wind is blowing every so slightly  in a different direction.

Maybe look at it this way, you take a picture of a wave at the seaside, you can’t take the same picture due to the fact that wave is constantly moving, even if your camera can take 100 pictures in a row, in that millisecond that shutter has taken to take the next shot the wave will have moved, even by a millimeter.

It’s like every decision you make will cause a wave, some call it the butterfly effect, one choice you make can change something far bigger than your imagination can fathom.

The thing is you can’t always see these happen as everyone moves on so fast, but if you think about any decision you have made in the past you will see the effects, the people you meet, the people you have passed and also the people you have left behind.

Even reading this blog is a moment in your time that will never be the same, even if you read this blog 2 or 3 times, the only difference that will make is your experience, which will create yet another moment in your time that can never be recreated.

For example, you may read this blog again after you finish, you may read something deeper into my words, you may read less into my words because you already know every word it says, but the 1st time you read this will be a moment you will never get again.

So take every moment and grasp it while you have it, every moment is special.
