Todays blog is on time. I want it to snow, snow makes it feel a hell of a lot more like Christmas, does it not?
When it’s cold but dull, or even cold and wet, that’s not a Christmasy feeling is it? I think snow make it so much more like Christmas than anything.
The weather app is saying Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday we are supposed to have some snow, but the predictions on that damn thing is usually way out.
Can I just slip this in too? Did you know that on the weather apps if it says rain it doesn’t actually mean there’s a 30% chance of rain ….. oh no, it doesn’t….. I only found this out last week, but it means 30% of your area will 100% get rain.
Yeah mind blowing eh? Use that one to sound clever with your friends. I’ll allow it.
The weather just lately is boring, it is shitty, do you remember back in the day when it snowed quiet a lot during winter, but never actually on Christmas day?
Am I showing my age there a bit? Well so be it, these days we get a little flicker of snow and if we are lucky it sticks.
Snow is awesome, and anyone who says it isn’t is boring. Snow has brought many of us fun times, even as adults Snow is always fun.
More so since driving, as long as your in a safe place you can enjoy it a little too much.
I remember building snow men with some old work mates, the running them over with the trucks at work, then having snowball fights in the workshop. We regretted it after a while because we had to work in a wet workshop afterwards, and got so cold we would have to warm up in the canteen because the heating system that was in place was bullshit.
Basically just 2 space heaters that did nothing unless you worked right next to one.
It’s safe to say, mostly, all of us love snow, it turns us into kids again, am I right?
