Hey peeps, as the mini heatwave continues, life still goes on.
Before I continue, let me say my heart and well wishes go out to the European countries suffering though these toughest times they have ever been through.
The flooding that is affecting places, like Germany, Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg mostly, looks really bad. The worst Europe has ever seen.
I hope they can get through this. That was a hell of a lot of rain, but as it stops raining and the flooding is receding hopefully they can start to rebuild.
It may take a few years, but they will get there, the flooding was that bad it’s ripped up roads and sewage pipes and cut out electricity and loads of people have been killed in the process, so my well wishes and condolences go out to everyone going through this.
You may not know but I’ve heard from reliable people there have also been flooding in places like India too, so I hope everything is ok there too, I have some friends there, I hope they are safe.
We have Brits here complaining it’s too hot and elsewhere people are suffering and loosing loads in flooding, it’s annoying that some people can only think of themselves.
Although it is way hot here, it does make it tough to work, it can make you feel uncomfortable and sweaty, but in a week or 2 when this heateave is over they will be complaining it’s raining too much.
That’s what we will get once this heatwave flies over, lots of rain ourselves. Maybe even some flooding too, but don’t get me wrong, I hope it won’t be as bad as in Europe, the people of the UK are full of complaints as it is.
As the latest restriction have been lifted since monday I can tell things will get worse.
Freedom day, or just another day.
To be perfectly honest, calling it freedom day is a mockery of the word freedom.
People are acting like they have been held at gun point, acting like they have been oppressed and locked up.
The virus is still upon us, it’s still spreading like wildfire.
The fact is we have always been free, shit most of us (at least 90% of the population) were paid to have an extended holiday last year.
Yet people still complained. There were peoples loved ones dieing, families and parents and kids and siblings not seeing each other for nearly a year maybe longer.
Countless selfish people flouted the rules, ignored the advice and carried on as normal.
Nothing has changed for most people, so what? the pubs and clubs have opened, the cinemas are showing again, people don’t have to wear masks.
Many places are still expecting you to wear masks, rightly so.
Loads of venues will expect people to be fully vaccinated (2 jabs), very rightly so.
To be totally honest, the way things are going again, and the lifting of “restrictions” are just going to make things worse, the government have lost a lot of income, that’s why the restrictions are ending, they need the economy to recover.
There are 2 types of people, many will carry on the way they were, but they won’t be breaking rules now, many will still be scared to see their sick relatives because they don’t want to risk their lives.
The media have made things worse, and the conspiracy theorists will still have something to say.
The virus is still upon us people, stay safe and be extra careful and vigilant.
I hope in vain that people behave and don’t forget the virus is still there. It’ll be here for a lomg time to come if not forever, yet people are acting like it’s come to an end, it’s frustrating.
People are more worried about going to the pub, or going on holiday, well fair play to them but do it responsibly just don’t go mental and fuck up the progress we have made, or we will end up back at the beginning.
So please please be vigilant and careful people, go and have fun, go and have a few drinks, see a movie or go party, but shit do it responsibly please I beg you.
Also anyone going through any of these floods, if you can send me pictures or videos or what your going through, I would (respectfully) show them in a blog, show the world from your point of view, and show the world there are people worse off than them. That is what I’m here for, I want to show the real world, not the world you see in the media, it is worse on the ground where you are.
