New resident at work, a new Robin family, brake pad change races, and a numpty nearly taking off heads as he drives.

Good evening peeps, yeah I know it’s late evening but it is what it is.

So what’s everyone upto this bank holiday weekend? I’m working tomorrow so that sucks a bit but hey ho.

Today at work as been cool, ended up getting a fair bit done. We had a spate of brake relines today, it seems like nearly everyone had a few axle to do.

So we turned it into a challenge, everyone was doing fine, flying through them (safely and properly, just for the record), I done mine in the quicketst time, 20 minutes 2 axles one of them being drive axle, bit tougher because they have 2 wheels each side to take off. Same with the others really. I’m the fastest brake pad changer in the west. 💪💪💪

Bish bash bosh done.

In other news we have a new resident at work, yeah this ones a little more wild, and she brought her babies along with her, well she made them here at least.

We have Robin setting up home in the parts department. She made a mest layed eggs and they have hatched. Fresh and new baby Robins, 2st time they have been spotted so shes been hiding them well. Here’s some pictures.

Now Robins are a protected species, so the nest can not be moved until the chicks have flew the coop. That means they will be with us for a few weeks, so I will try my best to keep getting pictures of their progress, obviously without disturbing them, and obviously from a distance, we don’t want the mother abandoning them.

I’m hoping we can capture them growing up and taking their 1st flight and what not, but for obvious reasons I can’t promise anything, work is work after all, and only there for 8 hours a day.

So cool though isn’t it?

Also I hope you enjoyed reading my 1st guest blogger, 1st of many I hope. There will be a new one every week from single mummy H.

Also have a couple more lined up, I’m just waiting for confirmation and a starter blog. So good luck to them.

Oh and nearly forgot i spotter this on the way home today, I thought you might find it funny.

Don’t know what the hell they transporting, but it’s not very safe is it haha.

I hope you all have an amazing bank holiday weekend and enjoy your weekend, let’s hope for a happy and warm one with sunshine.
