1st blog of 2023, I hope you have all had an awesome start to this new year, it feels good to have a fresh year, even to get back to work.
As I said in my last blog, I don’t do this new year new me thing, I’m happy with who I am now.
I may not be rich, and I may not be a successful business man, but what I am is a very happy guy, I got a decent job, with fair decent pay, I got a home and an awesome family and loved ones, I got awesome friends and work colleagues (who are also classed as friends), I can put food on the table and I can live comfortably.
A lot of people at the moment don’t have even half of that, but I’m a very lucky guy to say I do.
I also have a fair bit more than a hell of a lot of other people, I have a semi-successful blog, with plenty of people returning to read more, which has also reached more countries in the world than I ever thought possible.
I’m also in the process of writing a book (which I’m determined to have finished this year), it’s a work in progress.
As I said I’m happy and I hope you all are happy too, I hope this year brings out the best in you, and I hope it brings you happiness and plenty of the good stuff.
That being said, everyone has a bad day now and then, and everyone needs a bit of motivation to even get up some days don’t they? So I’ve decided, while I wake up at half 6 most days (work days) and I immediately go make a coffee and chill in the kitchen while i wake up properly, so I’m going to start doing a daily motivation blog here, along side my usual normal blogs.
Mostly due to the fact a positive thought in the morning can make the difference between having a good day and a terrible one.
They won’t be full on blogs, just basically a motivational or positive vibes quote or even a story now and then, maybe even a little joke.
I’ve always said a smile a day keeps depression at bay, and what better time than 1st thing in the morning right?
As it evolves, it may be a couple a day, depending on the mood, if I’m having a shitty day I’ll add a few extras throughout the day.
It’ll be good for me too, as helping others smile and feel good makes me in return feel awesome.
Today’s will be a bit late (as the idea just popped into my head), I’ll also be posting them to my socials, so follow them bellow.
