Hey peeps, I can’t believe it’s only Wednesday.
I’m havi g such an awesome time being off work, but aching like a fucker. Moving them paving bricks yesterday killed me off, but laying them properly (level and stuff) killed me more today.
Had to dig out the grass and level it all out, and layed them properly. It was fun, but good to know I’ve not lost that skill from being taught by my step-dad.
It’s looking awesome, the fire pit not 100% finished but just needs cementing together, but the bricks being free held works just fine, so no rush there.
Here’s the update pictures.
Was aching like a fucker, so we had some hot tub time. It hadn’t gotten up to hot temp, but nice and luke warm but was perfect, I been sweating like a hooker on over time.
Extended the path too so that looks awesome.
The firepit is even walled up too.
Couple a features too.
All on a nice budget, most of it was free or a few quid here and there it’s awesome.
I’ll have to do a video of a tour of the garden, if you want obviously haha.
Tomorrow will be a chikk day as we spending the day at Barry island, in wales, as long as we are allowed. I’m not sure what restrictions are in place.
I also got a quote on my car, just under a grand to fix it. She won’t pay that, but insurance will just write the car off for that too, so that’s annoying the shit out of me. So really don’t know what to do there.
I’m not letting it get me down though, I’m on my hoilday, nothing going to ruin it, I’m just living each day as it comes.

A friend, who’s not terribly handy paved a path between front fence and house. The result was an uneven path. Obviously not as easy as placing the bricks down where you want them. Are you in the building industry, Rob? Or just good at building?

No I’m a hgv mechanic lol, I was taught by my step dad mostly to do stuff, but definitely not easy haha. Thank you so much mary,
