I’m an actual published author.I didn’t think I’d ever get to this point. Not even close, I though I’dwrite some shit and just leave it there hidden away never to see the light of day. It always felt like one of those things other people did. The ones with perfect routines, fancy desks, and a life that looked like it made sense from the outside. Meanwhile I was just… writing when I could, between work, life, and everything else that tries to pull you away from the things you actually care about.

But here I am.

Midnight is real.

That alone feels mad to say.

This whole thing didn’t happen overnight. It’s been built through late nights, random bursts of inspiration, self doubt that creeps in at the worst times, and that constant voice asking, “Is this even any good?” And yet, somehow, piece by piece, it turned into something complete. Something I’m genuinely proud of.

Now let’s be clear about one thing.

Midnight is not your cosy, sit by the fire, cup of tea kind of read.

It’s not just about what happens between them physically, it’s about what’s going on underneath.

The control, the vulnerability, the moments where things get a little too real.

If you like stories that make you feel something instead of just pass the time, you’ll get it.

What I love most about this though isn’t just the book itself. It’s the fact that it’s opened a door. Midnight isn’t a one off. This is the beginning of something bigger. I’ve already got plans to turn it into a full series, to dive deeper into these characters, their world, and everything that comes with it.And it doesn’t stop there.

There are spin offs in my head already. Side characters that deserve their own stories. Moments that haven’t been written yet but are just waiting to exist.

On top of that, I’ve got other novels in progress too, completely different ideas, different tones, different worlds. Some darker, some more emotional, some probably a bit unhinged if I’m being honest.

This is just the start.

And I mean that.

What makes this even more special, and I don’t say this lightly, is that none of it happened in a vacuum.

This blog, every post, every comment, every message, every bit of support… it all led here.

This has been a journey, and you’ve been on it with me whether you realised it or not.

From random thoughts turned into blog posts, to Monday Music, to just sharing life in a way that felt honest… it all built something.

You’ve read it, shared it, supported it, and sometimes probably just put up with me rambling.

And now there’s a book.

So genuinely, thank you… to everyone who’s been reading, liking, commenting, sharing, or even just quietly checking in now and then, this moment belongs to you as much as it does to me.

You’ve given me the push to keep going when it would’ve been easier to just stop.

I’m not stopping.

If anything, this has lit a fire.

I’ll be doing more with Midnight too.

This isn’t just a “release it and forget it” kind of thing. There’ll be teasers, little snippets, behind the scenes thoughts, maybe even some custom signed copies with extras if people are interested.

I want to make this feel like more than just a book sat on a page somewhere.

And I also want to use this space to help others.

So along with promoting Midnight, I’ll be sharing and promoting other authors too. Not just one genre, not just one type of story, everything.

If you’ve created something, if you’ve put your time and energy into it, it deserves to be seen.

I know how hard it is to get noticed, so if I can help even a little, I will.

This whole thing is bigger than just me.

It always has been.

So yeah… that’s where we are.

A blog that started as a way to get thoughts out has somehow led to a published book, with more on the way. It’s messy and it’s exciting, it’s slightly chaotic, and it feels real in a way I didn’t expect.
