DAY 15

Wow, 10 days to go. Getting closer and closer every day huh? (“Obviously, dickhead” I hear you say).

I can’t believe how fast this month is going, it’s flying by. I said I’ll do a blog every day until Christmas, I’m loving it, I’m glad to be back on my writing.

I promise myself not to give up blogging again, well not give up but have a break, that’s what I did and I regret missing out for months and months.

I read back a few of my old blogs today, I noticed my writing has got better from those early days, I have more construction and layers and way way better grammar. It shows your never too old to try something new, never too old to learn and doing my blog (for nearly 4 years now, wow) I have learned alot about myself.

I’ve learned I have been through some shit I even block out and put to the back of my mind, deep into some dark depths of my mind, but sometimes they resurface and attack you’re mental state. I’m not alone in this, most of us, if not all, do the exact same thing.

Some of my best views on my blogs have been when I’ve written about my down days, the shit I’ve been through and the depression I’ve faced and overcome. I’ve opened up on my blogs more than I’ve opened up to anyone.

Sometimes speaking into a void helps alot, knowing noone may read it helps alot too, that’s why it’s shocking that those blogs got the most views, likes and replies.

This blog has helped me alot and stopped me visiting depressionville again, many times. It’s also helped others all over the world (I know this because I’ve been told by people, and that feedback feels amazing).

Sometimes getting things out in the open relieves some of that pent up stress and that’s why I’ll never stop blogging again.

Although it can be expensive, I mean I pay for this blog/website to be mine, that is the main reason that next year I’ll be finding ways to fund this space of mine, just a little extra cash to keep this going to help myself and others. Also to help keep WordPress from filling my space with ads (if I went back to the free version) and also it wouldn’t be mine. My little bit of the internet, my little bit of the world and I’ll never let it go. So as I always said I’d never have my readers pay to read my scribblings, I will be finding ways to fund this blog, some may work some may not but I’m determined to keep it going for myself and for you.

I’ll be testing a few things in the new year, but also doing so much more with my blog and website as a whole. There are so many things I’d love to do but can’t (or not sure how) but I’ll always find a way.

I want this to be a place people love to visit, somewhere to escape the real world and I want my readers/visitors to be entering with or without smiles and leaving with a smile guaranteed but also with questions in their mind and also a better outlook in life too. Somewhere you can leave and see the world in a different light. I want you smiling so you can pass that smile along, after all a smile is infectious isn’t it?

I want to create a happy place but also a sanctuary for your minds. You can do so much with words, words turn into actions and actions can create amazing things.

This is why I love writing.

I love my blogging and I hope you still enjoy reading it. All I ask is you to help me become bigger and stronger and share my words, like my stuff and keep coming back.
