THE SANTABLOG SERIES
DAY 5

Welcome to day 5, 20 more days to go, can you feelnit yet?
I want it to snow, I love the snow, it helpnit feel more wintery doesn’t it?
Plus it’ll be fun to drive in when I’m driving the mx-5, little things eh?
Do you have any plans for this holiday season? I plan to chill out as much as possible, work tends to take it out of us doesn’t it? But Christmas is always about relaxing and making the most of a few days off work.
I tend to save a fair few holidays for over Christmas, just having those extra few days off work tends to hit that spot just right. Well I may aswell because I can’t afford to go off on a holiday.
Do you ever get people asking you what you want for Christmas? Do you ever have any ideas for yourself? Or are you the type to say don’t bother, save your money. I am, but mostly because anything I want I usually just get it myself through the year, that’s the benefit of being an adlut but always a downside to Christmas.
As you get older Christmas become less about presents and more about time. Just that little bit of extra time to spend on yourself or loved ones. Time is more valuable that money, money can be earned and replenished, time fleets by and you can never have enough of it, time is one constant movement that you can’t control and inevitably limited.
Time gone by is forever lost, often wasted and way under valued. You can’t make more time yet we tend to let it slip through our fingers like water from a tap. We spend time like it’s gone out of fashion and we think we have more than we do.
Time is limited and there’s nothing we can do about it, yet we waste it, we don’t make the most of it when we know that we should.
This Christmas take some time to do what you want to do, replenish your mind, body and soul, spend it with loved ones and enjoy every second before it’s too late, spend it smiling and laughing.
Your time is limited and you never know when that clock will reach zero, do what you want to do and don’t let anyone stop you.
When that time does end make sure you can look back and think I made the most of it, I lived my life and I loved it. Make sure you can say you did it your way, make sure you can say I have no regrets.
