THE SANTABLOG SERIES.

DAY 19.
So today we reach day 19. Nothing special it’s Tuesday after all.
After yesterday’s horrible news, I though it’s best to soldier on, even though it’s a sad time during Christmas time, good ol’ woody will still be remembered, same as all those we have lost during our time on this earth.
The best thing we can do is keep them in our hearts and minds for the rest of our lives, I mean they would hate it if we were sad all the time right?
As tough as it may be, and as wrong as it may feel, we must go on and enjoy our time, it’s what they would want eh?
So only 6 more sleeps peeps, the vibe at work is awesome, everyone is happy and smiling, even through tough times, God I love Christmas, it brings joy even through the worst circumstances.
I feel an overwhelming feeling of Christmas cheer still, nothing can break this mood I’m sure.
I just hope everyone reading this feels the same Christmas vibes too.
I got a special Christmas song for finishing time Christmas eve, can you guess what it is? I wont reveal until Christmas eve blog, but I’m guessing you can tell what it is, if you read my previous samtablog series.
I’m also getting close to my 500th blog mark. How crazy is that?
So I’ve been doing bits and Bob’s of this blog all day, I’ve been struggling because I’ve just been busy and rushing round with work as it’s busy, it’s now 10.30pm so I best get a move on eh? Or it’ll be day 20 soon, and we can’t be having that can we?
So rushing without rushing eh? That’s tough to do, but pressure is always a good thing in many ways.
Sometimes you need a bit of pressure to become what you need to become, sometimes being rushed is what you need for a good kick up the arse to get a good job done.
So this is a good kick up the arse for those who are still rushing around and panicking about Christmas, because you haven’t finished your shopping yet.
Don’t worry about gifts, don’t panic about the food, what you need to do is show the love to your loved ones, if people think presents is what makes Christmas, if people think you have to buy stuff to be happy or show love then something is wrong.
It’s obvious the value of christmas has long gone in the distant past, remind people and your loved ones that Christmas is about sharing a magical day with your family, Christmas is about talking, laughing and time.
TIME WITH EACH OTHER.
That is what’s mostly lacked in life these days, everyone is all about rushing around, buying each others love and work work work.
Money doesn’t make the world go round, real love does, the love you have for your partner, your kids, your parents, your family and friends.
Stuff, presents and gifts, will be forgotten in a few days, and thrown up the corner, or people will forget they are gifts and just treat them like every day things that people use.
Yeah that playstation or xbox will bring you lots of fun and good times, but you will be (again) missing out on things that are valued, the most valued overlooked thing in the world, family or friends.
True family values have been forgotten over time, so bring it back, push those gifts aside this Christmas and create real smiles, real memories, real family time.
Those values are short lived and missed after you realise you are missing so much.
Does that even make sense? I hope so.
Basically, spend this Christmas without being in seperate rooms, get a game out and play together, sit down and talk, look at each other and take in everything about each other and burn it into your memory, for these people you spend this Christmas time with are your family, yes including your work family but they are so so much more than that, they are a part of you.
Without these people you wouldn’t be you, simple as that.
