DAY 11.

2 week until the big man come down the chimney.

It’s going fair quick isn’t it?

Today, I want you to think about the ones that can’t be with us for this Christmas.

Christmas is about remembering, and remembering those who are gone whether they left us this year or 10 years ago, it’s still always fresh in your mind, especially coming up to Christmas.

They are still here, in our heart’s and minds, but sadly they are not here physically.

I know it sounds like this one may make people cry and sad for Christmas, but do not let that be so, remember them because they were here, not because they are not.

Remember all that time you had with them, and remember them smiles they gave you, and most importantly remember their smile, etch it into your mind.

Remember all the good times you had with them, remember the best times.

They wouldn’t want you to be sad, they are watching you now seeing you happy, and know this for a fact, they are happy because of it.

You may wish they were still here, but they are also glad you are still here.

They are waiting for you (if you believe in that kind of thing), but first they want you to live a full and happy life.

So today I’m remembering my Grandad, he loved Christmas, but he loved watching us enjoy Christmas even more.

I love you grandad, and we shall see each other again, don’t know when, and don’t know how, and don’t know where but make sure you are holding 2 whiskey glasses for when I arrive.
