Hey peeps, just a quick one.

I hope everyone’s week is going good so far.

Mine isn’t bad, I’ve decided not to take that job, I spoke to my boss yesterday and he convinced me I’d do better staying where I am at the moment.

It’s a stable job, with chances to reach my potential, and training opportunities galore. Now training is back to normal, I’ll get more chances to learn more stuff. There’s also chances to actually make it higher, in the man in van job I’d be stuck as a man in van, I was told by the people who offered me the job that there’s no chance to be anything else. Here I may one day get the chance to be supervisor or higher, I just hope that is true.

I love my job but I have aspirations to become something, and not using my stammer as a political gain or anything, but I want to prove people wrong, I want to show people someone with a stammer can become more than what people expect, I want to prove to myself and others that I can become someone who can do whatever job others can do. My stammer will never hold me back. It shouldn’t hold me back, and I won’t let others believe it should either.

Just because I have a stammer it doesn’t mean I can’t become a supervisor and run a garage full of lads, or even one day be a manager, I have a voice too, and it will be heard. I have the mindset and skills to do jobs like that, I believe I can do a lot more than just fix trucks, and tap a few bolts.

I can do it, and I will not be held back because people think I can’t communicate very well. I make friends easy and I can deal with customers and gain new customers, and keep old ones.

Only time will tell, only the chance to do so will prove I can. My time will come, even if it takes a long time.

Anyone can do anything never forget that.
